Stained acrylic tones on linen dance around the negative space on this 36" x 36" canvas. This work is the beginning of something new for me, I was looking to create work that could be anchored in what is not there. I have explored this on paper as well and love the lovely tan beige tones of the linen as well as the paper tones that become a part of the composition.
